Founded by producer Tesfaye Bekele, Suke Quto has become one of Ethiopia’s most respected coffee producers and a benchmark for quality in the Guji region. What began as a reforestation effort has grown into a thriving coffee farm rooted in regenerative agriculture, environmental stewardship, and a relentless commitment to quality. Certified USDA Organic, Suke Quto stands as an example of how exceptional coffee and responsible farming can exist hand in hand.
What drew us to this coffee was not only its floral character and vibrant sweetness, but the sense of place it carries within the cup. Every harvest reflects the unique landscape, altitude, and care behind its production, resulting in a coffee that feels elegant, transparent, and deeply connected to its origin. For ST. DION, Suke Quto represents the beauty of restraint—a coffee that reveals itself through clarity, balance, and quiet complexity.

We recommend starting with a 1:15 coffee-to-water ratio using 18 grams of coffee to 270 grams of water.
For Suke Quto, our preferred brewing method is the Hario V60, which highlights the coffee’s jasmine aromatics, lemon zest brightness, and refined sweetness.
Start with a medium grind and aim for a total brew time of around 2:40–3:00 minutes. Small adjustments can reveal new layers of florals, stone fruit sweetness, and citrus clarity.
