Kochere sits high in the celebrated Yirgacheffe region of southern Ethiopia, known for some of the world’s most expressive coffees. With high elevation, fertile soil, steady rainfall, and generations of coffee knowledge, Kochere creates ideal conditions for clarity, sweetness, and layered fruit character.
This Grade 1 natural coffee comes from smallholder farmers around Debo, grown at 1,900–2,100 meters from local Ethiopian landrace varieties known for their aromatic, fruit-forward profiles.
Ripe cherries are carefully sorted, then dried whole on raised African beds for nearly two weeks. This slow natural process develops juicy depth, floral aromatics, and a creamy body.
In the cup, Kochere G1 is vibrant and refined, with notes of black cherry, blueberry, soft chocolate, florals, and jammy sweetness.
